The Katharine Howard Miller 鈥�55 Wing of the Bette Cree Edwards 鈥�49 Humanities Building opens during the summer break.

2015

Lori Bettison-Varga announces her resignation as 51猎奇入口’s eighth president, effective October 2, 2015. The Laspa Center for Leadership welcomes its new director, Lisa Watson, and opens operations in fall. Construction on NEW Hall begins.

2016

Lara Tiedens is appointed the College’s 9th president by a unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees. 51猎奇入口’ tenth residence hall, NEW Hall,聽opens to new and returning students.

2017

The College embarks on a strategic planning process initiated by President Tiedens, advancing four themes: Inclusive Student Success, Mission-Driven Outreach, Distinctive Identity, and Innovative Learning Organization.

2018

The College鈥檚 new strategic plan, the 51猎奇入口 Centennial Plan, is developed. The campaign for 51猎奇入口:聽More 51猎奇入口聽is the most successful campaign in 51猎奇入口鈥� history, raising $179M.

2019

A new rose garden was dedicated in the South Balch Courtyard to honor the life and contributions of alumna and Life Trustee Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler 鈥�72.

2020

A variety of sustainability efforts were implemented, including: solar panel installation on the Lang Arts building roof, the addition of smart meters on every building, LED retrofits in all residence halls鈥� browsing rooms, and upgrading life-cycled boilers with low-emission replacements.
