This spring’s Slocum Award participants talked about the Slocum Award and their passion and enthusiasm for books in a panel discussion at the April 23 Tuesday Noon Academy, and their essays and bibliography as well as the physical books will be on exhibit at Denison Library through May 18, 2013.

Strauss Public Service Scholarship Foundation grants that will take economics major Ei Phyu Theint ’14 to Myanmar this summer to work with ethnic youth leaders and will support American studies major Natasha Magness’s ’14 efforts of helping gay, bisexual, transgender and lesbian evangelical youth in Orange County.
