Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Z脙隆rate Mac脙颅as聽is an outspoken activist in the struggles of farmworkers,聽indigenous peoples, and women in Latin America, the聽Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the United States,聽including the social movement led by C脙漏sar Ch脙隆vez and聽Dolores Huerta. She works with Latin American immigrants聽and migrant worker populations as an advocate for economic,聽social, and political rights.
