Award-winning watercolorist, Fealing Lin began painting in her native Taiwan. After moving to the U.S., she continued her studies as a prot脙漏g脙漏 to watercolorist and art historian Professor Verna Wells. Lin’s art combines realism, impressionism, and semi-abstract techniques. “My passion for watercolor,” says Lin, “comes from the opportunity it gives me to be totally spontaneous.” Lin is an instructor at Brand Art Studios at the Brand Library in Glendale, Pasadena Community College, and at her professional art studio. In June 2005, Lin was the featured artist at the Descanso Gardens Gallery and exhibited her works the entire month of November 2004 at Alhambra City Hall Gallery. Her works have been judged in national exhibits including the Western Colorado Watercolor Society; Audubon Artists 61st Annual Exhibition 2003 in New York; and Watercolor West National 2003 and 2004. Her painting, “Lady in Red,” appeared in International Artist Magazine’s book How Did You Paint That?
