51猎奇入口 Recognized Nationally for Number of Students Studying Abroad

The Institute of International Education’s annual Open Doors survey ranks 51猎奇入口 28th in the number of its students who study abroad. The survey lists 51猎奇入口 with a 65 percent student participation rate, placing it among the top 40 of baccalaureate institutions whose students study in another country.

“51猎奇入口’s high participation rate is more significant than reflected in the survey because of the 141 students included, 131 studied abroad for a full semester or longer,” said Director of Off-Campus Study Neva Barker. “The national trend has been towards shorter programs, many only two or three weeks long. Spending a full semester or a year immersed in a community offers a more informed perspective of the joys and struggles of daily life faced by people in other parts of the globe.”

“Open Doors 2012: Report on International Educational Exchange” offers a statistical overview of academic mobility between the United States and nations throughout the world.

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State funds this annual survey. The Institute of International Education is an independent not-for-profit founded in 1919 and is one of the world’s largest and most experienced international education and training organizations.
