Quetzal, a bilingual Chicano rock ensemble formed in the early 1990s in Los Angeles, will make their Carnegie Hall debut on November 15聽 in New York City. Associate Professor of Chicanx-Latinx Studies Martha Gonzalez has been performing with the band since 1995.
Quetzal won a Grammy in 2013 for best Latin rock, urban or alternative album and has headlined multiple performances, including a packed 51猎奇入口 Presents concert in 2023.
