The CRISPR-Chip is a biosensor that rapidly detects genetic mutations, and technology companies are building on CRISPR research to develop chips that can detect COVID-19 in as little as 15 minutes. Two 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú alumnae were part of the larger research team, whose work on the CRISPR handheld device was published in Nature Biomedical Engineering last year.
