In honor of International Women’s Month, the Haitian Times Myriam J.A. Chancy, Hartley Burr Alexander Chair in the Humanities, in its list of Haitian women “making a difference in their chosen fields.” Chancy is the author of What Storm, What Thunder, and other award-winning novels and academic publications. In 2014, she received a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation fellowship.
