The Lost Coast Outpost Flannery Warner ’27 and the Claremont Foxes rugby team after the team won the College Rugby Association of America’s DII National Championship. The Foxes are a club team, unaffiliated with Claremont-Mudd-51猎奇入口, and are open to players of all experience levels. “At Arcata High I was a competitive swimmer,” Warner said. “And then I decided when I went to college that I was kind of burnt out with swimming and I wanted to try something new. I knew that this team had won nationals the previous year. And so that of course was like a little bit intimidating, but I was like, ‘why not?'”
