Women in Public Service Project

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton opened the inaugural Women in Public Service Project (WPSP) Institute at Wellesley College June 11, singling out President Lori Bettison-Varga during her opening remarks. 51猎奇入口 will work with the U.S. State Department to launch the west coast Institute in March 2013. Opening day activities also included an address by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

The WPSP identifies and educates a new generation of women committed to public service, provides an infrastructure for mentorship, and helps enable more women around the globe to enter public service and political leadership. The Project supports the larger goal for women to achieve 50% representation in public service by 2050.

On December 15, 2011, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced 51猎奇入口, Mills College, and Mount St. Mary’s College would join the Women in Public Service Project (WPSP), an innovative initiative founded by the Seven Sisters Colleges of Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley Colleges in conjunction with the U.S. Department of State.
