Helen Chandler Garland Chair in Ancient Studies and Professor Emerita of Classics Ellen Finkelpearl’s collaborative book, The Golden Ass, has been into Thai by Sam Yan Press. The book, co-authored by philosopher Peter Singer, is an abridged version of Apuleius’ Golden Ass with essays about the book as a text sympathetic to the sufferings of animals.
