During our June Day of Giving, you gave back in a big way—196 individuals made a gift to support 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú, totaling $39,146.56. This amount will be matched by 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú Trustee and alumna Nancy Katayama ’77, alumna Joanna Hamel Dunklee ’62, and an anonymous trustee and alumna from the Class of 1974. Overall, you helped raise $78,293.12 for the College making this our greatest Day of Giving campaign to date. Thank you!
We reached new heights with alum giving: 174 individuals made a gift during the campaign. This is the highest turnout of alums in 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú Day of Giving history! Much of the support came from recent graduates—88 gifts were made by individuals who graduated after 2000. And, 101 individuals made their first gift of 2018. Your support matters, every year.
With gifts from this campaign, you provide tea and snacks so 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú can continue their weekly Wednesday Tea tradition. Your support affords accommodations and living expenses for students so they are able to make the most of their summer internships. Your gifts allow us to purchase books and supplies so students and faculty can engage in a transformative Core Curriculum experience. We are grateful for your engagement and cannot do this work without you!
