Project Features
The Nucleus will provide:
- Teaching labs and prep spaces for study in biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science, and interdisciplinary courses
- Student-faculty collaboration spaces, including meeting rooms, student lounges, study niches, and a computer lab
- Outdoor courtyards and plazas
- An art installation
- New office spaces for faculty and laboratory coordinators
- A rooftop greenhouse

Thanks to several generous donors, the College broke ground on this transformational initiative in May 2022 and The Nucleus opened its doors to students and faculty in fall 2024. However, additional support is needed.
