His work East First Street #2 (St. James Park), from the series 鈥淓rased Lynchings,鈥� 2013, was featured in the book The Image of Whiteness.鈥�

Professor Gonzales-Day鈥檚 photograph of 鈥淪honke Mon thi^, (Shunkamolah), Osage鈥� was acquired by the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution.聽 The image is part of his series 鈥淧rofiled (2008鈥損resent),鈥� in which he photographed figurative sculptures in American and European museum collections in order to explore conceptions of racial difference and beauty in art.
