Professor Huang and his creative team received a $15,000 UCLA Chancellor鈥檚 Arts Initiative Award to present a live performance of 鈥淭he Los Angeles Chinatown Massacre: 150-year Commemorative Performance and Dialogue鈥� in Los Angeles on October 24, 2021.

Professor Huang鈥檚 original play about the 1900 San Francisco Bubonic Plague was selected as 鈥淭op 5 Winning Plays of the Year鈥� for Pomona College Theater Department鈥檚 Annual 10-Minute New Play Competition (Play Fest).
