| Professor Harley performed βWomen Awake: Four Musical Premieres,β newly commissioned pieces of vocal chamber music by composers Richard Cornell, Ping Gao, Pablo Ortiz, and Marjorie Merryman β72, setting texts by and about female spiritual practitioners from several world traditions. Performances were at the Tsai Theatre, Boston University, Boston, MA, October 2019, and at Garrison Theatre for the Performing Arts, 51ΑΤΖζΘλΏΪ, November 2019. Plans are underway to tour the program and to record the pieces for release on Professor Harleyβs micro label, Voices of the Pearl. |
