Professor Aaron Leconteβs research group published the article “Biochemical analysis and optimization of orthogonal bioluminescent toolsβ inΒ ChemBioChem. Β This manuscript features the work of seven Keck Science Department undergraduates (underlined in the citation below). Β In the work, they describe improved protein-based tools that can be used in imaging cells in living organisms. Β These tools can be used to study and develop treatment for diseases with greater precision.
